Would i still have to cycle the tank?

i have a 10 gallon tank with Caribbean sea live sand and im getting saltwater from my local fish store to put in. it is 60 cents a gallon so im thinking its a good deal. even with the live sand and the fish store saltwater would i have to cycle the tank? i can also get live rock if necessary. thanks.
