Can someone answer this Bioshock 2 Question?

After dealing with every Little Sister in the game, will Big Sisters appear again? I went back to finish the game on Hard and get the Research all Achievement (along with Savior). However, my progress is only halfway finished and I'm almost done with the game when it comes to the Big Sister Research. Any advice?
