What things in the past have been done to end germany's poverty?

World war 2....Germany was in poverty due to WW1 repayments and hyperinflation from the government printing lots of currency. Hitler's rearmament campaign and World War 2 provided jobs and stimulated the economy while of course supplying war loot. The money and stuff taken from the Jewish also probably helped.
