this is just a pure example of "you never know what you have until it's gone." I would just give him time and space. If he really loves you and wants to be with you, he will realize it just like you and find a way. There's really nothing else you can do. You were supposed to go to counseling and he said he didn't want to. My boyfriend and i went through a big break up in feb and it took him a month to realize he wanted to see a counselor with me. We both saw counselors from March to last week and are better than ever. Just give him space.
